Brigman Cabinets (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a custom cabinetry business located at 209 N Lowndes St, Hahira, GA 31632. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal jargon.

The short version

We collect the details you type into our contact form so we can respond to your project enquiry, and we collect basic, mostly anonymous statistics about how people use our site. We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing emails or newsletters.

Information you give us

When you submit our contact form, we collect:

• Your first and last name
• Your email address
• Your phone number (optional)
• The service you are interested in
• Your city or town (optional)
• The message you write describing your project
• Any photos you choose to attach (optional — up to 5 images)

This information is emailed to our office so we can reply to you, and a copy is stored on our own server so we can keep track of enquiries and make sure none go unanswered. When a new enquiry arrives, our staff also receive a text message containing your name, the service requested, and your phone number so we can get back to you quickly.

Please only send photos of your space or project. There is no need to include documents containing sensitive personal information, and we ask that you do not send payment card details, Social Security numbers, or similar information through the form.

Information collected automatically

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors find and use our site — for example, which pages are most popular and whether people are visiting on a phone or a computer. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects information such as your approximate location (typically city-level), device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at our site. Google processes this data on our behalf; you can read more at Google’s Privacy Policy.

Our own visit counter

We also run a small, self-hosted counter that records only which page was viewed and adds one to a running total. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and cannot identify you or follow you between visits.

Server logs

Like virtually all websites, our web server automatically records standard technical information about requests, including IP addresses. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting, are not used to build profiles of visitors, and are automatically deleted after roughly two weeks.

Cookies

The only cookies this site sets are those used by Google Analytics, described above. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to track you across other websites through our site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking cookies will not affect your ability to browse the site or submit the contact form.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote or estimate
• To contact you about your project by phone, text, or email
• To keep an internal record of enquiries so none are missed
• To understand how our website is used and improve it
• To protect the site against spam and abuse

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we will not add you to a mailing list.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make our website and communications work:

• Google — website analytics, and email delivery for the messages our contact form sends to our office
• Twilio — delivers the text-message alerts that notify our staff of a new enquiry
• Hostinger — hosts the server our website and enquiry records run on

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.

How long we keep it

Contact-form enquiries are kept for as long as needed to serve you and maintain our business records, and email copies may remain in our mailbox indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them. Server logs are deleted after about two weeks. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in our Google Analytics account.

Your choices

• Ask us what we hold. Contact us and we will tell you what enquiry information we have about you.
• Ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will remove your enquiry from our records, unless we are required to keep it.
• Ask us to correct it. Let us know if any detail is wrong and we will fix it.
• Opt out of analytics. Use the Google opt-out add-on linked above, or block cookies in your browser.
• Stop the texts and calls. Tell us you would prefer email only and we will honour that.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the GDPR. We are happy to honour these requests regardless of where you live — just ask.

Security

Our site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and enquiry records are stored on a private server that is not publicly accessible. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us.

Children’s privacy

Our website is intended for adults arranging cabinetry work. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Our site contains links to third-party sites, such as an embedded Google map showing our location. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date above.
